Total newbie. Wanted someplace not overly hostile to learn the ropes hopefully. When I played GURPS, I usually played an underdog type, IDK, SS14 seems interesting, and I like to roleplay. Got to learn the ropes someplace.

You just have to describe a background and/or personality of a character (Doesn't have to be one you've played as feel free to make one up), it doesn't have to be anything fancy. Sure, one of my first chracters was an Russian expat travelling in the nordics, basicly a petty criminal. He had quickdraw and some knife skills, so by coincidence he (Igor) got trapped in a shopping mall after sticking up some street thugs for easy money. (Hiding from the cops) He was basicly a low level street fighter on the lam not only from the cops in homeland, but now also locally). He was untrusting and exploitative by mentality, and shady by background. Basic PR 1 leather gear, a knife and some misc, kit. Therein he met the other players and the campaign begun. (Ironically his downfall was the winner of a darts tournament that passed out under a table scoring a headcrit on my guy) There are other RP sessions on different systems, but I really like GURPS. If there is something you want me to elaborate on, or if you want other stories from characters I have played, feel free to ask.) My playstyle prefers light to medium roleplay.
