Briefly describe the background and/or personality of a character you enjoy playing (Can be SS14, DND, or a character you just made up!): I play a character named Coldness of Ether a lot of the time. He's a dionaea (loosely based on diona SS13 baystation lore) who was a normal diona, but at some point in time contracted an unnatural sickness that caused him to feel stuff he hadn't felt before (and because of how he obtained it, he was betrayed by someone), along with medical conditions such as narcolepsy and mild chronic pain. This leads him to become distrustful of others yet paradoxically searching for connection and new experiences.
Ingame I play him as someone who is cold and distant, but also more likely to open up if you aren't antagonizing him on first interaction. It is in his nature though to be helpful first thing first, so I often played him in medical and chemistry, sometimes command as CMO. He also enjoys rules and making sure they're followed, but it's also not against him to know how to skirt these rules, and he also likes gossip - a consequence of his desire to find out more experiences, more things, and more about people in general.
What made you join Funky Station?: I wanted to experience more MRP servers. I've had some time on others, but Funky seems fun with more changes that really impact how you play the game! I particularly like medical and chemistry so I'm interested to see how Funky might differ in some aspects, and also stuff like needing intercoms, the more strict metashield on antags... It seems fun!
