Briefly describe the background and/or personality of a character you enjoy playing (Can be SS14, DND, or a character you just made up!):
It really depends on the goal of the character. In DnD I played a Goblin wizard who while very intelligent had the personality of a child due to having negative charisma a low wisdom. She was protective of the people she befriended but was prone to mood swings that you'd expect from someone who hasn't matured with age. She filled both the roles of the adopted chaos gremlin as well as the party mom, always getting into trouble but very protective of the people she cared about and always made sure they were safe.
In SS14 I tend to play more laid back characters. A suave musician/radio host who plays all kinds of music or a miner who just wants to do his job in peace. However a fun reoccurring character I've made on multiple servers now has to be Joe Wolff. A guy who is never in any important roles, but is a sort of hobo character. Spouting nonsense and making things up as a reporter, running around collecting every desk bell he can find when delivering mail, getting lured into becoming a boxer by NT under the guise of doing hobo fights, and wandering maints as a self imposed protector of the station reporting anomaly locations and helping Sec whether they want him to or not. He's never malicious, just a bit crazy.
What made you join Funky Station?:
I remembered hearing about Funky from Liltenhead in some of his showcase videos and decided to look into the server. When I read that Funky is a fork of Goob geared towards longer rounds it appealed to me. I've grown tired of Goobs short rounds, usually at the hands of the currently overpowered changelings.
