Briefly describe the background and/or personality of a character you enjoy playing (Can be SS14, DND, or a character you just made up!):
Given the chance in a random TTRPG (Usually in CoC or WoD stuff), I will gravitate towards playing a character that is related to the sciences: I've had professors, researchers, engineers, etc. Let's pick Álvaro, for instance, a somewhat virulently nihilistic researcher who, for some reason, chooses coffee over suicide. A habitual smoker, for whom tobacco provides a momentaneous release from all thought.
In the setting, his place of research and residence collapsed over the White Nights and Dark Days; for some reason, he still chose the cup of coffee. He is despondent, he will follow authority without much question, as long as they provide him the cigarettes to do it.
What made you join Funky Station?: Well, I'm a new player in SS14, and I have been investigating and trying to find a server that will be something closer to my permanent home. So far, I cannot say that I've found anything wrong with any other server in particular: People have been great, kind, helpful and so on. And yet, none of them so far have had the exact balance I was looking for. In that regard, I've heard great things about funky from others in almost every sense: community, rules, content, etc. Man, even the forum right here is great! And, if it counts for anything, I've 1ccd every Touhou normal and extra. This should count for something at least, come on...
