Briefly describe the background and/or personality of a character you enjoy playing (Can be SS14, DND, or a character you just made up!): I got an arachnid character I tend to like and roleplay as, Xarlae Silkweaver. This character is a passionate cargo employee, either as a technician or a salvager. Xarlae, coming from a rural farming colony, had bigger dreams than the usual fate of the family, he wanted to see the stars so eventually signing up for Nanotrasen's cargo job, thought it would be an ideal job considering cargo is the closest he gets to navigate the stars without being stationary for a long time.

What made you join Funky Station?: I joined the discord quite some time ago just to check it out first, but what mainly made me decide to make this whitelist was the videos of some rounds I have seen on youtube, I also asked a friend who has a whitelist already to see if they could show me a round of the game, just to see overall how the average round goes without being in well... youtube, and I found it quite interesting and fun, I am passionate about the roleplay aspect of this game and i find myself enjoying MRP servers more fun and LRP or HRP ones, I mean roleplaying is fun but a bit of silly is also fun to have in a game like SS14

1. "Whitelist Me or Whitelist Myself? The Ethics of Self-Whitelisting"
Is it even possible to legitimately whitelist yourself in a system designed to gatekeep? Or is this just the digital equivalent of standing in line to cut in line? (Bonus: How do you explain this to a mentor who’s already suspicious of your motives?)

---

2. "The ? Denied: When Your Application Gets Lost in the Algorithm’s Shadow"
What if your denied application wasn’t bad—it was just buried under a pile of other ?s, forgotten like a library book with no due date? How do you prove it wasn’t you, but the system’s own chaos?

---
3. "Mentor Applications: The Art of Being ‘Just Chill Enough’"
Mentors want someone engaged but not needy, ambitious but not desperate. How do you strike that balance without sounding like you’re auditioning for a TikTok personality? (Or is that the new standard?)

---
4. "Accepted Applications: The Unspoken Contract of ‘You’ll Be Good Now’"
Congrats! You’re in. Now what? Do accepted applicants owe the community something—like a lifetime of unpaid labor, or just the quiet acceptance of being the “chosen one”?

---
5. "Departmental Postings: Why Does No One Read Them?"
If your departmental post is buried under 100 ?s and a single “meh” reaction, is it because no one cares, or because the forum’s UI is designed to make you feel invisible? (Spoiler: It’s both.)

---
6. "? Character Introductions: The Forgotten Ritual of Digital Handshakes"
Why do we still do this? Is it nostalgia for IRC, or just a way to pretend we’re part of something bigger than a Discord server? (Also, who’s the most cringe-worthy intro you’ve ever read?)

---
7. "Print View: The Last Refuge of the Analog Noob"
In an era of infinite scroll, why do some of us still print forum threads like they’re ancient scrolls? Is it fear of being distracted, or just the thrill of holding physical evidence of our digital existence?

---
8. "Unread Post: The Digital Graveyard of Your Own Attention"
Your unread count is a ledger of your failures—some posts you’ll never return to, some you’ll regret ignoring. How do you reconcile the guilt of the former with the relief of the latter?

---
9. "Return to ‘Whitelists’: The Forum’s Version of Groundhog Day"
Every few months, the whitelist thread resurfaces like a zombie, demanding new blood. Is this just how communities sustain themselves, or is there a better way to avoid this annual ritual of self-doubt?

---
10. "The ? Denied: When the System Says ‘No’ Before You Even Ask"
What if the real question isn’t why was I denied? but why does the system even exist? If the answer is “to keep things ‘clean,’” then whose definition of clean are we following?

---
11. "Bookmark Topic: The Digital Hoarder’s Obsession"
Why do we bookmark threads like we’re collecting Pokémon cards? Is it hope, or just the quiet terror of missing out on something important? (Spoiler: You won’t.)

---
12. "Forum Announcements: The Annoying but Necessary Wake-Up Call"
Announcements are the forum’s way of saying, “Hey, remember you’re part of this?”—but why do they always feel like a drill sergeant instead of a cheerleader?

---
13. "The Mentor’s Dilemma: Do You Whitelist the ‘Potential’ or the ‘Already Good’?"
Mentors have limited slots. Do you take the raw talent who might explode into greatness, or the polished but stagnant user who’s already “enough”? (Or is this question itself the problem?)

---
14. "Denied Applications: The Art of the ‘Almost’"
What if being denied wasn’t a failure, but proof you were almost good enough? Is that a badge of honor, or just a cruel loophole to keep you chasing?

---
15. "Print View: The Last Digital Relic of a Pre-Internet Mind"
In a world where everything is ephemeral, why do we still print things? Is it because deep down, we don’t trust the cloud to remember us the way paper does?
