Metagaming, lying in an ahelp
What lead up to the ban:
I was a boxer on a cirno round, and rolled cosmic cultist.
I was chosen as a steward, and after some consideration, put the monument in a very risky spot.
Some times passed in the shift, and at some point, I had recieved an EMAG from a thief that was converted.
Since I wanted to build a ton of traps, I thought OOC that making a recycler trap would be fun. I told a cultist to take the recycler so I can make a trap out of it. I pressed enter before I realised myself that I would not have an idea how an EMAG works.
I decided that since I cannot use the EMAG IC, the plan with the recycler was null. Following the metashield, I treated the EMAG as some weird thing that I have no idea how to use, not using it a single time during the shift ( Which can be checked on the replay ).
At that time, the cult was busy, especially since I was planning to make a ton of grille traps, and as such, forgot about the recycler. No one stole it, nothing was done with it, so it was out of my mind.
It was a bit later that I was asked in an ahelp about my recycler plan. It was only then that I remembered that I asked about the recycler in the first place. Thinking someone DID steal it and just didn't mention it, I decided to justify it as a way to steal materials away from the station ( Which I would have mentioned IC if I saw the recycler, since again, no knowledge about the EMAG, which I mentioned in the ahelp itself ).
In the ahelp, I did not originally mention my original plan, which was entirely my fault.
I slipped up when I initially got the EMAG, and from that moment forward focused on fixing my mistake.
I have a really bad memory, so if there are any screenshots or something from that ahelp that would help a ton ( It should be on the discord afaik? ( I seriously forgot 3/4 of it already I am so sorry ).
Why you should be unbanned:
I am not looking for an instant removal of the ban, or anything like it.
I understand that I broke the metashield, a core part of funky station's gameplay, even if only through wording.
I should have instantly given the admin that bwoinked me all of the information instead of trying to decide for myself if the situation is solved or not.
With the logs of me not using the EMAG even once during that shift, lack of any metashielded info besides the original slip-up, and my lack of prior metagaming warnings and overall bans ( except for the singular grass ban I requested myself ), I wish to appeal my ban so it may be reduced from a permament one to one that eventually will end, as I really like funky station and wish to once again become a mentor in the future.
