Arma Finium
Physical Evaluation and Description
Arma Finium is a heavyset 6’2” dark green arachnid with an injury going across three of its right eyes. It has six limbs coming out of it’s back, most of them unmoving save for the occasional twitch. Its mandibles are small comparatively, and its eyes are completely white. Arma claims that it is about 38 years old.
Personal History
Earliest records of Arma Finium includes an arrest record from 2962 on the Cybersun cargo freighter █████ carrying ████ tonnes of unrefined chromium, in the cluster NGC 104, at the age of 16. Records of this incident indicate that, though it insisted that it was going to the frontier for ‘adventure’. Reasons for the arrest included theft (upon search, its pockets and satchel was filled with chromium), being a general nuisance (getting into the crew’s rations, ‘webbing up’ maintenance crawlspaces), and stowing away. When the freighter reached the moon ██████, it’s destination, Arma was released awaiting trial. Charges were dropped upon the disappearance of Arma from the moon, due to the minor nature of the crimes.
For the next six years, various records reported Arma, or someone matching Arma’s description on different civilian ships. In 2968, it signed a contract to become a full employee on a privately owned ranching vessel, owned by ██ █████, operating in the Orion Nebula. This was its first ‘job’, and lasted for around three years, and it’s duties included gathering ‘intelligence’ on crew, in an unofficial manner, though it’s new job title allowed easier correspondence with vessel command.
Aegis Personnel Statement
Officer Arma Finium was recommended toTalent Acquisition Officer ██████, by Captain ██ █████, citing specifically ‘It would do well with finding things out’. Finium was approached with an offer in early 2972. Lack of experience with formal employment, education, and identification documents delayed the hiring process. Aegis sponsored Finium for a GED program, as well as formal medical documentation. Cadet training began in late 2972, at the age of 26. It completed training and was awarded officer status in 2975.
Since, Finium seems to have settled down and left behind its previous delinquency, and now rents an apartment on ██████████████. Security union membership was confirmed in the third month of 2979. Per its relatively quiet record during Aegis’s employment, it has been identified as a candidate for Deputy status.
Gorlex Personnel Statement
Operative Arma Finium was captured on the ranching vessel boarding during Operation ████, and peacefully surrendered to syndicate personnel. Execution was to be after three weeks of no suitable individual or organization to deliver ransom. However, after acquisition and inspection of the mobile laboratory, multiple murder scenes in maintenance had been traced back to Finium. Due to the nature of these murders as well as it’s cooperation with the cell, it has instead been targeted for operative training and deployment.
Nanotrasen Personnel Statement
Captain Arma Finium enjoyed a relatively quiet career as an officer for Aegis Security, eventually getting promoted to deputy in 2980. However, in late 2983, it won the Keplerian Powerball, tendered its letter of resignation with Aegis, signing off with a ‘See ya suckers’. It’s hedonistic spending habits caused it to blow through most of the spesos awarded to it, though. In early 2984, it used its remaining funds to purchase a space station and has licensed use for it out to Nanotrasen. Arma seems to be malleable to Nanotrasen’s interests, as long as it perceives itself to have a ‘seat at the table’, even if it does not wield much power.
