Briefly describe the background and/or personality of a character you enjoy playing (Can be SS14, DND, or a character you just made up!):
Clodric Deepeyes, Kobold Necromancer. Not strictly my first D&D character, but the first real one by my own metrics. She started out as little more than a stat sheet and accompanying text file, but in the years since has swelled into the source of my immense love for all things kobold, especially in the Forgotten Realms setting. Did you know that kobolds are considered mature at 6 years, but can live for up to 120? Did you know that every kobold hates all gnomes, and that they are totally justified* in doing so? Did you know kobolds invented the first pickaxe? Ask me about it. Haven't actually said much about Clodric herself have I... Oh well...
*May include bias.
As for SS14. I've played enough to be fairly comfortable with the systems, but not enough to have characters defined enough that I'd put them here. I absolutely adore Dionas, the mechanical differences they have are super flavourful and fun. And I find the Silicon lifestyle very engaging, but with server hopping (as below) and hour requirements I haven't had as much time as borg as I'd like.
What made you join Funky Station?:
Friends! - who are also joining. I'm stuck on a damnable laptop that can only run certain servers so I'm still looking for a good home. I've gone through some of the developer wiki and I wholeheartedly approve of your design direction. And that I happened upon Funky right as you reopen is a good omen right?
