Briefly describe the background and/or personality of a character you enjoy playing (Can be SS14, DND, or a character you just made up!): My goto Character, im playing since i started in SS13 and refined over time is a middle-aged man named Richard Stanis (or some other adaptation of the name depending on the played race). He's a tired man who likes to complain about his job and does not shy away from blaming other department if they are too slow for his liking. Being that old facade though lies a man who loves to learn and teach. He will also never shy away from a dangerous situation to save someone (not validhunting, think more running into a depressurized room or trying to grab someone actively being eaten by a carp. His background : He's a NT employee since he was old enough to work and was able to secure jobs postings in most departments through the enthusiasm he used to have, he dabbled in a bit everything but was a master of none. He then spent most of his time as a NT sponsored miner before going back and applying for a position on a research station.

What made you join Funky Station?: I left ss13 years ago due to the instability of the game and i did not have the time to dedicate to learn new roles back then. I got back into SS14 a month ago and played a bit of the wizden servers but quickly realized they missed quite a lot of content implemented in other servers. I then tried Trauma station which i played for around 80h but due to my location i often played during low pop hours and the server is ripe with either self antagging or Antags way over escalating the situation (Think half the station killed and medbay attacked while objectives were nowhere near whats required or Botany filling their department with killer tomatoes for no reason.) I then switched to Starlight and played about 10 hours as an engineer the RP is much better but the constant highpop can make the server a bit nonresponsive at time and some stations are just ridiculously big. So anyway, i found funky by watching videos and i love the ideas of longer rounds more complex mechanics and higher RP standard than servers like Trauma.

I would like to warn you that Funky does not have anywhere near as much content as Trauma and goob, and we are currently rebasing onto wizden because it's much more stable. But in community and roleplay we have you covered!
