Maff is a 46 year old blue moth who specializes in engineering work and sometimes works in NanoTrasen security.
After working on experiments with bluespace crystals when around 30 years old and being involved in an accident which NanoTrasen denies to this day he was given a position as Chief Engineer of a few outpost engineer teams.
