Briefly describe the background and/or personality of a character you enjoy playing (Can be SS14, DND, or a character you just made up!):
One character I play is Javier, a 26 year old cargo tech. He's honored to work for NanoTrasen and takes his role on the station way too seriously. He's gullible, quick to trust people, and a bit of a dimwit. But NT only cares about the numbers, and he is good at making money, so he managed to become a quartermaster. As QM he offloads as much responsibility onto techs as possible but makes sure they're taken care of. He lets a lot of funny business slide, unless he sees someone harming or taking advantage of the cargo department, which he is vehemently defensive of.
What made you join Funky Station?:
Since I started playing practically all of my playtime has been on Starlight alpha. I'm used to a super chaotic 200 pop environment with often shitty roleplay, and while sometimes it's awesome, it's also pretty exhausting. There's no room to breath and creatively enjoy the game. So now I want to get into playing actual normal pop servers, and Funky sounds like the place to be. From what I've heard Funky is creating a version of the game that solves problems that the players who are more knowledgeable than me care about, so I want to see what I'm missing out on.
P.S. I appreciate that this is done on a forum and not Discord!
