Briefly describe the background and/or personality of a character you enjoy playing (Can be SS14, DND, or a character you just made up!):After bouncing between lots of the custom races I decided on a small young female Felinid named "Fortune". She tends to refer to herself in the third person. Fortune is a very curious girl that enjoys exploring the various stations. She always loves to help others regardless of her job, and even more so, tinkering around in unused parts of the station. She's usually nice and approachable, but when the station is faced with a threat, she will definitely act tough about it even though she is most likely thinking about hiding away in her duffel bag until it all blows over. Fortune bounces between jobs all the time, and it isn't uncommon to see her at the head of personnel's desk at the start of the shift, begging for a new one. Recently, Fortune has made friends with a blind elderly Ovinia, escorting her around the station like it's her life's mission, even though sometimes she gets thumped on the head with her cane, she is very quick to forgive.
What made you join Funky Station?: After playing SS13 for YEARS, I quit after the BYOND DDOS made it basically inaccessible for an extreme amount of time. I was very hesitant to play SS14, but a friend of mine talked me into it and have been hopelessly addicted and after bouncing between a lot of servers, I started reading up on Funky Station, and it definitely sounds up my alley! The whitelist makes me feel like it won't be full of insane murder fests, and I'm a big fan of MRP which I also hope will help with avoiding that!
