Briefly describe the background and/or personality of a character you enjoy playing (Can be SS14, DND, or a character you just made up!):
My SS14 characters are "brand-new", but I am currently alternating between two characters (so I can learn the roles and functions of the game properly).
Currently, I play as Evangeline Beauregard for the more extroverted roles, such as musician and bartender, and also as Lumina Bella Fiora, who I am learning Med and Cargo with, since she's more the "brains" type. While Evangeline is a brave and spontaneous person, which helps her with getting things starded, she often gets side-tracked and things end up in a mess. She has a bad habit of smoking when stressed, and she often gets a LOT of stress on the ship.
Lumina on the other hand is shy and reserved, but has a very big heart for people close to her. Most people don't get to see her true colours, often just being able to observe her outside layer as a typical hardworking intern. While she actually works hard and gives it her all at the job, she has a borderline unhealthy obsession with crude-humour jokes and a fascination with the Rude and Vulgar. She is deeply ashamed of this and only her closest friends get to see her slip outside of the "perfect intern" persona.
What made you join Funky Station?:
I just started playing SS14 this week, but I really enjoy the game. I love Role-Playing Games and have played TTRPGs for the best part of 10 years now. I didn't really understand SS14 because it is VERY complex, specially for a total beginner, but a friend who has hundreds of hours in the game taught me the basics and it finally "clicked" for me. I want to join Funky Station because I want to play with a close community that I can story tell with.
