Briefly describe the background and/or personality of a character you enjoy playing (Can be SS14, DND, or a character you just made up!): Big Addison is a Rodentian from the planet of Mousetrap, a horribly overpopulated mining and industrial planet on the rim. Her life has been pretty miserable with 54 other siblings she rarely got the attention, let alone the food that she needed to survive, always having to fight for every little scrap. Growing up she got into a lot of fights, scrap after scrap that left her strong, but covered in scars. When she grew up, she ended up working for an astro-salvage company, clearing debris and scrapping old ships. While she was scrapping a station, a space carp bit her arm off. It was deemed her fault, and she was not given compensation, meaning she went deep into debt just to get the medical bills paid for and a replacement arm. Addison actually ended up replacing the arm after finding a better one on the corpse of some guy on a derelict station.
To pay off her debt, she had to sell illegal salvage, and ended up getting pulled deeper into the bad crowd she was already a part of. She wasn't actually caught for this, and instead went to jail after she beat someone to a pulp for trying to intimidate her. (She had a bad day already.) Spending four years behind bars that only strengthened her paranoia and violent tendencies. After being released she felt like she needed to get away from everything and signed up to nanotrasen as a cargo tech to start a new life.
Big Addison, her full and legal name, is a very crass person, who really doesn't take well to being insulted or intimidated. Addison has a bit of an ego, and tends to take unnecessary risks for the sake of proving her strength. She lashes out at others if she feels threatened and feels a constant need to prove herself strong and capable, but she is a good person at heart, who just wants to feel safe. If someone helps her out, saves her life, or just generally shows her kindness, she tends to be pretty loyal to them, as she hasn't been shown much kindness most her life. If someone truly makes friends with her, she would go as far as throwing her own life away to save them. Even if she doesn't know them, Addison is not a selfish person, and will try to save people if she can.
She prefers to go by "Addi" "Addison" or "Big Addi" as "Big" is an honorific so just calling her "Big" is incorrect.

What made you join Funky Station?: I saw a well edited youtube video that made it look fun, and I also saw a video tier listing stations say this one was very good. So i thought i'd pop in and give it a try.
