Hey everyone, quick author note for anyone reading this. Liliann is one character that I have three versions of on funky because I feel it doesn't make sense for one person to hold all the possible job roles at a singular point in their life. Thus I have three different life stages for her for the various positions I play that I feel would fit at that age and employment duration. Anyway, I just wanted to explain why it was so long and why there were essentially three dossiers that form the cohesive story of her life.

Personality Evaluation: Liliann Earnest displays exceptional levels of empathy that would be suitable to other departmental roles, that due to her position within the security department, often places her at odds with her fellow officers. She is deeply spiritual, following the goddess Zariah, and displays a great degree of natural curiosity and stubbornness. Finally her nature as a sentient slime has given her an almost suicidal tendency to put herself in danger before her fellow officers, believing that, because she lacks internal organs beyond her core and can more readily regenerate, it is her duty to take the risk before they need do so.

-EMPLOYMENT HISTORY

Liliann Earnest began her employment on February 2, 2952 following application approval for the Service department, where she was evaluated and found to be a good possible fit for the Media and Religious departments due to her high levels of empathy and an almost unseemly curiosity.

Ms. Earnest requested a transfer to medical following incident: 13-S42-AD almost a year to the day after her employment began when a faulty servo within an airlock crushed one of her fellow employees before her eyes, stating that, "If I had medical training or acted faster, they may have been saved." Approval was granted, and after three months training and passing the certification course for paramedic began her employment within the department where she served without issue for two years.

Following incident U27-396-G12, in which a suspected enemy agent sought to detonate an explosive device in the medical lobby but was stopped by Ms. Earnest dosing him with a lethal amount of epinephrine, Ms. Earnest requested a transfer to the security department. Due to her quick judgement and decisive action, as well as her hereto lack of displayed friction with Nanotrasen authority, the request was granted.

As a cadet, she began to display troubling sentiments, refusing to beat cuffed prisoners when ordered, questioning decisions made by her superiors, and other acts that were assumed to be a shock response to having taken a life. This habitual activity persisted, following her even after making full officer, where the Head of Security at the time decided to designate her as the community outreach officer of the station. The position turned out to be well suited, as she consistently demonstrated an ability for soothing the crew's ire towards security enforcing Nanotrasen's will, but despite exceptional work in that regard, and in the actual execution of her duties, Ms. Earnest's conflict with her fellow officers continued to progress and her tendency to question orders continued.

After four years within the department the decision was made to offer her a lateral transfer to detective, as her personality and skills assessment make her a natural fit for the role. Head of Security Stack-The- Bodies stated hopes that the freedom of the position, as well as her separation from the department's standard operations, would reign in her exacerbated anti-authority tendencies.

Legacy Internal Affairs note: Liliann Earnest quite frankly should never have been granted a transfer to the security department with her corporate compliance rating and psychological profile. If not for Stack-The-Bodies' questionable defense of her abilities and baffling willingness to put up with her nigh insubordination, she would have been transferred or fired long ago. She has been reprimanded no less than seven times for questioning superiors, and displays obvious hesitancy to deploy adequate force when interacting with the day to day infractions the department deals with. While I cannot contest that her natural curiosity and dogged refusal to abandon a task when she sets her mind to it make her an exceptional forensic investigator, she is nonetheless a time bomb waiting to go off should someone from a rival corporation or competing interest approach her. Interventions may become necessary.

Personality Profile: Liliann Earnest is a highly driven and dedicated individual with high loyalty to the corporation following the extensive subliminal neural and social reconditioning she was subjected to during the lead up to her appointment as an internal affairs agent. While her baseline levels of empathy have been brought in line with the expected parameters of the CCViP department, her ability to display the previous levels she was known for, as well as read others remain intact, as such she had come to resemble a high functioning sociopath. Further her single minded determination and curiosity remain and have been focused towards Nanotrasen's interests. Finally, the permanent wound she suffered to her core that rendered her unable to reestablish the link between her core and body following a disruption (See supplemental file Unique Body Composition) in incident O-643-UZ has curtailed her risk taking behavior.

Legacy Internal Affairs note: Her spirituality was deemed too significant for her psyche to undergo realignment or conditioning, as such she retains it as the possible sole point of contention with Central Commands wishes rather than risk total ego death by attempting to alter it. With her corporate compliance rating, barring a severe break with reality to where she perceives herself as hearing her goddess speaking to her, there should be no such time where such a conflict occurs.

-EMPLOYMENT HISTORY

Liliann Earnest spent five years as the lead forensic investigator on NT Station 73, wherein she wracked up numerous insubordination warnings and corrective action plans. In almost equal measures she managed a startlingly high successful investigation and conviction rating of over 96%. A figure that sheds some light on Head of Security Stack-The-Bodies' willingness to shield her from true punitive measures.

Her insubordination finally caught up with her during incident O-643-UZ, in which she took a bullet aimed at I.A.A. Jaqcuelynn Du'Coutil before refusing medical treatment to assist in hunting down the criminal with Agent Du'Coutil. She was stated by Agent Du'Coutil as "instrumental in busting the smuggling operation on board station 73" that had facilitated the gunman. In doing so however, Ms. Earnest violated the direct orders of Captain Vincent Al'janis that she report to medical, and was summarily fired after the smuggling ring was arrested and her actions came to light.

Following Ms. Earnest's debrief at Central Command, Agent Du'Coutil, who's outstanding record to this day still speaks for itself, made the request that Ms. Earnest be transferred to her direct supervision rather than face contract termination. Following approval, and a year of neural and social reconditioning at blacksite [REDACTED], again by Agent Du'Coutil's request, Ms. Earnest was assigned to Agent Du'Coutil where she shadowed her and served for three years before finally being granted the rank of Internal Affairs Agent herself.

Legacy Internal Affairs note: It should go without saying that the extraordinary investment into reconditioning Agent Earnest only came after an extensive cost benefit analysis regarding her potential worth to the company. The effectiveness to which it took merely highlights Agent Du'Coutil's nigh legendary eye for such things, as Agent Earnest has shown no hints towards recidivism.

Personality Profile: Magistrate Earnest is a woman who has become an edifice of stoic resolve as she has aged. While she maintains an air of approachability and polite attentiveness with general crew members aboard Nanotrasen stations, she nevertheless cleaves to the propriety and dignity of her station. Further, beneath her pleasant surface-level demeanor rests an iron will with little regard for corruption or abuse of power. Despite this, or perhaps because of it, the suppression of her empathy has seemingly regressed, and the sociopathic tendencies she displayed following her reconditioning have almost entirely disappeared. She naturally remains loyal to Nanotrasen and its interests, but now serves it by maintaining the crew's trust in the corporation, stating that, "The thin line of our continued market dominance is maintained not by our research and development, but by our ability to project a front of legitimate authority before our employees and shareholders. Should that front fail due to incompetence or corruption, our control will surely follow."

Internal Affairs note: It is currently unknown if the extensive reconditioning Magistrate Earnest underwent began to fail at some point during her service, if she merely experienced normal value drift, or most chilling of all, if she was merely displaying the behaviors she knew we needed to see in order to not terminate her. Current orders are not to follow up or observe beyond the typical yearly assessments for CCViPs, as she hasn't displayed any anti Nanotrasen sentiments and seems focused primarily on the execution of her duties and mitigating abuses of power, both of which are within her current purview.

-EMPLOYMENT HISTORY

Following fourteen years of distinguished service as an Internal Affairs Agent, and turning down three offers for admission into the Nanotrasen Representative division for outstanding paperwork in the line of duty, Ms. Earnest requested the opportunity to apply for a Magistrate position. After favorable assessment and review her request was granted. She has since wasted little time distinguishing herself and establishing a reputation for nigh-zero tolerance regarding the abuse of power and disregard for space law within the command and security structures on board stations she serves.

Despite her reputation, she displays the same skill towards sifting truth from fiction she always has, but now combines it with decade and a half of bureaucratic social engineering to achieve the results she wants when ferreting out corruption without needing to rely on the powers granted by her station.

Du'Coutil: "Liliann, it's been some time since we last caught up. Has the new position been everything you hoped?"

The sound of a bottle opening is followed by two glasses being poured.

Earnest: "Thank you. It's been a year but I've been making progress."

Du'Coutil: Laughs "Not what I asked. Some things never change it seems."

Earnest: "I did learn from you after all... but no. It's not what I hoped, it's what I expected."

Du'Coutil: "Mmm, and I assume you are using said lessons still? Even now that you are no longer Internal Affairs?"

Earnest: "Naturally. It's exactly like you once said, "Soft power will always go farther than hard, learn to wield it well and you will find you never needed hard power in the first place."”

Du'Coutil: "I'm happy to see you took them to heart. One day I expect you to be the one in this chair."

Earnest: "Perhaps. Though I do have a question if you will indulge me?"

Du'Coutil: "Only one? My my times have changed. Go ahead."

Earnest: "Twenty years ago, when I took the bullet that was intended for you, the gunman was under your orders wasn't he? How much of all this did you organize?"

Du'Coutil: "He was acting under my orders the entire time, yes. I was wondering if you ever figured that out."

Earnest: "And the amount of my career that you orchestrated?"

Du'Coutil: Laughs "Come now Liliann, surely by now you don't need me to say it?"

Earnest: Sighs "I suppose I don't."
