Psychological Profile
Personality: Stop and Smell the Roses expresses anxious posture and speech and seems hesitant to stand up for themself. They are easily susceptible to peer pressure, especially by other thaven. They are passionate about helping people and a strong supporter of everyone being treated fairly no matter their status or circumstances, including silicons and criminals. However, Stop tend to be a stickler to the rules, not out of moral obligation but instead out of fear, which can be seen due to Smell not doing things exactly by the book when they believe they are not being watched. Their outward attitude changes drastically when they are expected to perform as a psychologist during sessions, suddenly acting put together, calm, and collected. They offer a level headed perspective to their patient's issues and are passionate in helping people, though they seem to retreat to their timid self when treating Command personnel.

History
Stop and Smell the Roses grew up on a small relatively unknown icy moon with very few thaven, and at age eighteen relocated to a larger system to pursue a degree in psychology. After four years, at age twenty two, they went to study abroad at a different system with their boyfriend, but their ship was intercepted and they were kidnapped by what they refer to as pirates. Their boyfriend was quickly executed. However after connecting with their captain, Stop was allowed to live but wasn't allowed to leave.
For four years Stop was on the pirate's ship watching countless people murdered at the hands of their captors, all the while giving them mental health advice and guidance to them. Stop seems to have felt obligated to assist the pirates, and sometimes speaks fondly of their time with them, but due to a refusal to speak with NT affiliated psychologists this is inconclusive. After those four years Roses eventually managed to escape, and although they were not immediately recaptured, Roses was consistently stalked by their captain for about a year until Rose graduated early and decided to look for employment under Nanotrasen.
After joining under Nanotrasen, Stop and Smell the Roses tried out an internship in the medical department for a month before quickly deciding their services would be better utilized as a properly titled mental health professional. Originally they took on the title of therapist, but was eventually deemed competent enough to be allowed the role of psychologist.
About three years into their employment, Roses had an averse reaction to a mind shield and nearly suffocated to death during a seizure due to a previously untested neuroaversion. After deciding not to pursue legal action, Roses has since had no other issues working with NT.
Criminal Record
Stop and Smell the Roses has been caught five times for possession and use of illegal substances, namely space mirage, and one refusal of mental shielding three years into their employment before knowledge of their neuroaversion.
Note: Stop has repeatedly refused to become a psychologist in Central Command, even before knowing they would be unable to due to their neuroaversion, citing enjoyment in staying on stations. They have not openly decried Nanotrasen but a few reports suggest uncertainty in trusting NT, even before the mindshield incident.

[REDACTED]: We have all the tools right here, Rose. It wouldn't even take a minute, and if you have any side effects you can just talk to me—
Roses: N-no!

[A chair scrapes against the floor, followed by footsteps.]
Roses: List-ten… I just… ple-ease p-put it do-own.
[REDACTED]: Refusing a mind shield is a fifth degree crime, Rose. Do you understand that?
Roses: Wh-what—?
[Sounds of struggling.]
Roses: Sto-op! Wha-at a-are yo-ou—?
[Roses gasps.]
[REDACTED]: There! That wasn't so bad, was it?
[Roses can be heard sobbing.]
Roses: I-I… Y-you sai-aid… Wha-at…?
[REDACTED]: Oh, I won't tell anyone you violated space law, Rose, there's no need to worry. You're my friend, I won't let them do anything to you.
Roses: …O-oka-ay.
[REDACTED]: Now wait there while I finish up this paperwork. It'll only take a few minutes.
[A door can be heard opening and closing.]
[Roses can be heard crying and sniffling.]
[Time elapsed: 9 minutes.]
[A gasp followed by a loud thump is heard.]

Internal Notes: The identity of the other individual must not be known outside of a select few, and no action is to be taken against them. Stop and Smell the Roses agreed not to press charges under the condition they are not reprimanded for violating space law.
