How old are you? 22

How many hours do you have on Funky?1,080
Have you helped with whitelists before, or played Nanotrasen Career Trainer on New Player Weekend? Please elaborate on which one. I have played NCT on new player weekend.
What tips you off that a player might be a good fit for Funky, if anything? a willingness to forgo the typical mannerisms within most other ss14-13 servers that are not allowed here.
Have you ever had an interesting or fun experience helping a new player? If so, tell us about it. most of my new player experience has been teaching and nothing really stands out to me among those many training rounds.
How do you like to teach interns or new players, if at all? I usually RP it as like, okay your new and you were taught the basics but were gonna go over everything to rejog your memory on anything you might miss. then i explain the mechanics of a station followed up with like, them asking anything. i keep help chat use to a minimum, only using it when theres an issue or problem that cannot be explained IC, such as bugs that require the player to relog and whatnot.
What areas of the game would you say are your strong suit, if any? id say im very good at communication (when my mind isnt getting distracted) im also very good at sci and sec work, and id also say im the ace of understanding how to use mechs properly.
What is your favorite department? Why is it your favorite department? im torn between command and sci. i love command because it allows me to partake in bigger parts of the station narrative in my own way depending on what head of staff I am. sci is also something I like to do as nothing limits the capacity for fun than a sci team that cannot finish research without being 10 minutes from evac getting called. having access to all the research items also lets me expirement with item interactions and whatnot
Tell us a fun fact you know about the game. The more niche, the better. the bluespace crystal has an ability that most people dont know about. when you are holding it and press the interact button you get teleported a few hundred tiles. of course unless you have a mass scanner and a hardsuit i would not recommend using this tidbit of knowledge as it will usually take you to space. ive yet to be in an RP situation where I had to use it but it makes for a very dramatic escape.
Tell us about a roleplay moment you fondly remember. theres a number of them. one time i found out my HOP was resting on a pile of rainbow cannabis and called it catnip. I proceeded to berate them and had sec take all the weed away which led them to run into space. and lie on the catnip outside. I went outside to talk to them into going outside. when my guts suddenly told me someone was nearby (not joking) I interrupted them told them to run inside, someone was here. before they got to write a response the collosus showed up and i forced it to focus on me so the HOP could escape. another time I was dealing with a bomb hostage threat on the cargo shuttle as QM and I was handling the negotiations while simultaneously making sure all my cargo techs stayed out. jin at the time had a mental break and kept trying to force themselves into the situation which lead to me having to pick them up toss them in a locker lock it and tell the supplybot to take jin for a joyride around the entire station. theres many other moments but this sections getting a little long.
