How old are you?
20

Have you read the requirements, and ensured you meet them?
Yes

How many hours do you have on Funky?
800.53 as of writing

Have you helped with whitelists before, or played Nanotrasen Career Trainer on New Player Weekend? Please elaborate on which one.
I have done neither.

What tips you off that a player might be a good fit for Funky, if anything?
If a player is open to roleplay and going along with people's roleplay or gimmicks, while also being able to come up with their own gimmick every now and then.

Have you ever had an interesting or fun experience helping a new player? If so, tell us about it.
Not necessarily totally new people, but I've taught TAs running the nuclear reactor on Packed as QM. I've also played as nukie pAI once and had to teach the operator, who was new to playing nukies how to navigate the uplink to buy the gear they want to run, and helped them to find their way out of sticky situations like being split off and stuck in a room with crew around. In the end, the nuke detonated, and the operator made it out alive.

How do you like to teach interns or new players, if at all?
I usually prefer explaining what they should do and then make them do it. For example, teaching artifacts, I would show them about the nodes etc... and explain what they should do, and then tell them to go do (complete the node) so that they can see how it would work if they were alone. however for more complicated stuff that requires a little setup, I will do the setup and then explain how to do it yourself, so they can screenshot or write it down (Example, Turbine logic gates and piping loops for reactor)

What areas of the game would you say are your strong suit, if any?
I would say I'm a rather versatile player, because I've been trying to play a bit of every department. However, if we're going by playtime, I played sci the most.

What is your favorite department? Why is it your favorite department?
Probably medical except for medical doctor, I'm sorry but I find normal medical doctor a really boring role in comparison with the other jobs in the department.

Tell us a fun fact you know about the game. The more niche, the better.
Bloodcult can actually revive UBC people, so checking the morgue as bloodcultist every now and then could get you some free converts.

Tell us about a roleplay moment you fondly remember.
I've had a lot of fun thaven rounds, with thaven moods guiding me and others to common goals or aspirations. One shift had the "Gourmet Gassier" Shared mood, so every thaven on bagel station stormed atmos for some exotic gas. Atmos had to fend us of and even murdered me at some point. Afterwards, captain banned everyone from having gasses other than oxygen or nitrogen in our airtanks. However, a scientist and me had managed to obtain and make air tanks filled with Frezon and Pluoxium. So we slowly started a black market for every thaven to get a good and long lasting high :godo:

Are you committed to keeping up with mechanics changes and learning them so you may teach new players, and presenting a friendly, helpful face in our community? As long as I am not forced to learn the SM because I despise it and I know I'm gonna cause so many SM delams :gocrazy:, as for helping teaching new people, yes of course!

Are you willing to assist admins with whitelists by helping look over and pre-approve them?
Yes
