Briefly describe the background and/or personality of a character you enjoy playing (Can be SS14, DND, or a character you just made up!):
Archibald Hughes, from Scotland, started to work for various space contractors right after highschool. He was never interested in continuing education. His various jobs ranged from space trucking to working shifts in cargo areas of hospitals, planetary outposts or logistics centers. He has no kids nor wife because of this nomadic lifestyle, and also probably because of his tendency to spend long time at the bar after the shift is over...
He ended up at this station after getting fired at the last one by his boss who found him tipsy at work and working without the correct protection gear.
He has some good qualities though : Likes an organized cargo area, not a messy one. Likes bureaucracy, papers and stamps put in the right folders, and likes to walk around with a folder in his hands to "look busy". Has a tendency to call people "son" when they look younger, with his heavy scottish accent. Not on the very talkative side, but likes to crack some jokes from time to time and throw a laugh at the end of some comments to his colleagues.
What made you join Funky Station?:
Saw lot of people on reddit recommending it for its great helpful community , nice MRP, and expanded mechanics in some departments. Not an expert in ss13/14 but I know basics of cargo and Janitor.
I've also read that there is no commons in the radio chat, so much less clutter, have to use the intercoms on the walls, and I really love this idea because I find the other servers to have way too much chat stuff going on...
