Briefly describe the background and/or personality of a character you enjoy playing (Can be SS14, DND, or a character you just made up!):
My DND character's backstory: Niko grew up on the streets of their city. When asked about what happened before they began living on the streets, they claim it was too long ago, and they don't recall. Whether that's true or not remains unknown. What is known is how Niko soon ended joining street fights as a way to earn gold. It was through these fights that they met a man who owned a gladiator school. Impressed by Niko, he offered them a room and a job, an offer which they readily accepted. Over the next decade, Niko learned how to fight, and soon began fighting as a gladiator in the capital of the country. However, that all came to an end when Niko was severely wounded in a fight, resulting in the loss of their leg. Niko spent a few months recovering and working as a teacher, before they moved out of the city to a small farm they purchased, where they lived until a strange band of travelers entered their town.
