Polymer is a mad scientist who, in a fit of financial desperation and wilful exertion of patent rights, turned herself into a psychic hivemind of black chemical sludge. For a while, she supported herself through industrial sabotage gigs and slime-aided larceny, but being on the wrong side of the law never sat well with her and she did what she could to make a break from that life.
Years of effort and self-discovery later, she leads a small team in cutting-edge esoteric research, applying scientific methods to paranormal events; these weird studies and obsessions are supported materially by her business partner, who sells textile derivatives of Polymer's corporeal formulae. Somehow, this works out.
Polymer's an AuDHD mad scientist slime, big on Weird (But EXTREMELY RIGOROUS) Science, Bodily Autonomy, Telepathy, and Transhumanism.
What made you join Funky Station?: a friend of mine recently got into SS14 and she was playin' on this server! Played a round of the free weekend (hoping to get another in) and woooogh it was fun! Really hoping to get to play more!
