Plays-With-Death grew up in a quaint little home with her mother and mostly spent time glued to screens watching crime shows and film noirs. Ever since she was old enough to want anything, she's wanted to be a detective, and so has dedicated her life to the study of space law to become a member of the Security department!

Personality wise, she's cheerful, bubbly, and honestly kind of stupid. She often leaps before she looks, and quickly points fingers without thinking first. She often embarrasses herself with simple misunderstandings, but bounces back quickly. Plays tries to get along with everyone she meets, and is quick to call people her friend.

She's the inventor of a very fun game she calls "Maints Pill Roulette", in which she gathers a bunch of strange pills from the maintenance tunnels, gets a metamorphic glass, and each person in the circle picks a pill, spikes 5u water with it, sees what they got, and then drinks it no matter what. It's dangerous because you might get uranium, but safe, because you'll at least know what you're drinking so the medical staff can cure you.

As a Cadet, she will get assigned a partner and stick to them like glue, following every word they say and watching intently. She'll be as serious as she can be, though may occasionally get too giddy and scream in joy at the top of her lungs. Plays can be a lot to handle on a grizzled, tired security team, and may work well in a "someone will die..." / "of fun!" dynamic with a senior officer. Think of her as the baby of the security team and give her patience and grace, she's still learning.

As an assistant, she spends most of her time maints-diving, where she looks for cool loot and contraband. It's a 50/50 on whether she'll keep the contraband for herself or hand it over to Security, especially if its a cool knife. In the case of a machete, there's a 99.9% chance she will keep it for herself. She won't ever use it for bad purposes, she's just a big fan of knives, shiny blunt objects, and other curiosities and oddities. She will pick it all up and stuff it into her satchel and skip along her merry way. I recommend frequent contraband searches on this one, because even if she's turned in contraband already, there's a decent chance she's storing some more for herself.

That being said, her impulsive nature, clumsiness, and naivete makes her stupidly easy to manipulate. She's easily distracted, and will follow sounds like window knocking or fake gasping to her doom. Those who are clever and plan ahead to hide their tracks can easily get away with crime right under her nose.

Fun trivia:

  • Her order of choice from the bar is watermelon juice, no ice. As for the kitchen, any kind of burger.
  • She likes to kill mice and other pests and eat them straight off the floor while maints-diving for a little snack.
  • Her roundstart trinkets are a lesbian pin and a tape recorder.
