Personality of a character I enjoy playing: I play the SMT TTRPG with my friends, and my character I play is named "Eve." She's kind, but she's also from a lower class background in a dystopian world. While she works towards a dubious good, at the end of the day, she's trying not to fall back into that background. Defeating whatever powers that try to make the world worse is her way of preserving the small niche she's carved for herself. That niche consists mostly of a bar she owns and lives above. The bar, Angel's Share, mostly caters to gang clientele. While at first they thought they could throw their weight around with Eve, her laid back manner, information gathering, and negotiation skills quickly put them in place. Eve earned respect with the local gangs and even tendered a partnership with the largest one in order to live her life in peace and relative stability. Her ability to defuse a situation through fast talking or subterfuge caught the attention of the government, and they assigned her to a task force and gave her a a magatama. With this magatama, she became a fiend specializing in healing and status effect magic. She supports her team and talks to demons as needed, often defusing a situation before it heads south and risks compromising their mission. By doing this, she secures a second source of income as well as a way to ensure the balance of world powers stays relatively stable. All this goes to show that she's a complex character. While generally laid back and mostly concerned with stability, if something threatens that stability, she has no issues pulling strings and empowering the right people to ensure the threat is taken care of.
What made me join Funky Station?: SS13 has a number of issues, and I feel the issues have been getting worse over the past few years. I fell off it, but I decided to try it again. Now I see the issues haven't gotten better. I talked to my friend about how often SS13 servers aren't really built for RP, as we met doing RP on Goon 3 or 4 around 4 years ago. She recommended I try Funkystation, so here I am.
I hope to join the server and make some memories through engaging storytelling. Thank you for considering my application!
