QUESTION #1: Does your character(s) like to cook, bake, etc.? Are they good at it, and if not, do they want to learn? What are their favorite things to make?
Demi cannot cook worth shit. The best she can do is turn things into sandwiches, or make basic pasta...not much else, really.
QUESTION #2: Does your character have any pets at home? If so, tell me about them! If not, what would your character have as a pet? What would they name it?
Demi had a pet mothroach at her old family home, but she hasn't been home in YEARS. Who knows if she's still alive. Her name was Spinner.
QUESTION #3: Do your characters have any fond old memories from their youth, before they started working for NT? Back on their home planet, etc.
She solved a lot of "myseries" in her hometown that she is very proud of. Her first one was special to her though. She was 9 years old, and her friend from school had a cat go missing. She wanted to help out her friend really bad, so she ended up tracking the cat down, following its path through the woods. She found her friend's cat snuggled up in a nest of mothroaches. They were still in their larval phase, but they seemed to enjoy the cat's company...or rather, ANY cat's company. When Demi approached to pet the cat, the mothroach larvae climbed onto her arm and made little chittering sounds. They liked her. She ended up helping take care of that nest after telling her friend where her cat was found, and they did so together. That's where Spinner came from!
QUESTION #4: Does your character listen to music often? What kind of genres do they prefer? Feel free to provide real-world examples, if you'd like!
Usually, Demi gets overstimulated quickly when music is playing. She prefers quiet environments. But when she DOES listen to music, it's usually ambient tracks.
QUESTION #5: Is there someone in your character's life, whether another player character or someone from their personal history, that your character looks up to and/or views as a role model?
While Demi has friends, she has a tendency to only truly trust herself, and thus has no role models. However, she did idolize superheroes in cartoons while growing up, especially "Ratman," which is why she took such a liking to detective work.
QUESTION #6: How does your character keep their living space? Is it neat and tidy, or a huge mess? Is it practical? How do they decorate it, if at all? Do they live alone?
Demi doesn't really "decorate" her living space, but she does try to keep it clear of trash and excess dust. Her apartment only consists of the essentials of her work. However, she keeps a hidden compartment under her bedroom floor tiles, full of things she has stolen. I suppose you could call that "decoration"
Question #7: Does your character find it easy to trust other people? What's a surefire way to make your character lose or gain trust in someone?
As stated before, Demi doesn't tend to trust people very often, but she also doesn't FULLY distrust by default. She remains pretty neutral on everyone regarding trust, rarely letting anyone see her for who or what she really is. Losing her trust, though, is incredibly easy. Being overbearing, repeating yourself for no reason, constantly barking orders instead of letting her do things herself...that'll net you Demi's ire in a heartbeat.
QUESTION #8: If your character had social media(or has, assuming some form of it exists in the current year), what kind of things would they post? Food? Cute dog pictures? Inspirational quotes? Anything goes.
Demi likes to cover her tracks, so much so that she doesn't even use NanoChat. She does have a secret "NanoSpace" account, neither tied to her name nor her net address, that she uses to look at and repost animal photos. She would never tell anyone this, though.
QUESTION #9: How does your character handle stress/anxiety? What are their biggest forms of comfort?
Whenever Demi gets stressed out or overstimulated, she usually yells. She can't control this very easily, so when it happens, she leaves the room, usually playing a game somewhere to help herself stop thinking about it. NT Block Game is her favorite.
