Reason for Complaint: I was forwarded a ban appeal by someone I know in the GoobStation Discord. https://forum.funkystation.org/d/256-revoked-whitelist-appeal-metek <- This is the ban appeal, but I believe it to be somewhat irrelevant to the complaint. I read it, and noticed that an admin pointed out a flare gun to be a weapon.
Obviously, this is.. confusing. A flare gun shouldn't be considered a weapon unless loaded with other shells such as a slug or .50 in my opinion. I make a forum post regarding why an admin considered the flare gun to be a weapon, (https://forum.funkystation.org/d/269-flare-gun-loaded-with-a-flare-is-a-weapon/3) and I get told, "Yeah probably something to do with how it can round remove someone in one shot" which I think is exaggerating - but I am not sure, since I have never played this server past about 6 months ago.
So, I take the head admins word for granted, and I offer a solution that is incredibly easy to take into consideration; nerf the flare gun instead of banning people for it.
I am instantly greeted with a laughing emoji by the head admin, and the post is hidden shortly after. I go into mish's DM's seeking for the admin policy, and they ask for context on why I am asking for the admin policy after I ask if it applies to the forums. I tell them that they are biased - since they are - and they offer me more context to the ban appeal, I say no, since I am here to get context on why it was hidden, and why there was no discussion at all. I get responded to with, "Oh because when I see a fresh account being made solely for this I presume it's with ill-intent" - which, doesn't make any sense. A new account seeking a rule clarification, and why it's clarified as such, can be seen as with ill-intent?
I tell mish, "I was curious why you & the other admins actually consider the flare gun a weapon. It's silly, and there's a nerf that's been merged to Goobstation and Wizards Den that dis-allows the flaregun to carry any other ammo type. Which your server doesn't have?

Yes, if someone spirals during an ahelp during their first round over being asked "hey why do you got a spear and a flare gun" it tells us that this person should maybe play another server."
Now, near the end, I admit I did escalate the situation, but I knew I wasn't getting anywhere, and I just wanted the admin policy as I opened with. I say, "Do you want to keep banning people for having flare guns?" and mish responds "bro ðŸ˜
the issue was not the flare gun". I ask for the admin policy, and I leave their DM's, and head to make this.
I believe this conduct by Mish is completely unprofessional, and shouldn't be done by a head admin.
