Briefly describe the background and/or personaltiy of a character you enjoy playing:
Valeria Bode, a cargo and medical employee working under NanoTrasen in the Starlight sector, to pay off extensive medical bills - which only seem to increase every time she dies whilst our mining, or doing salvage operations. A heavy smoker with a vocabulary that would make a sailor blush, NanoTrasen installed a politeness implant into her to ensure that she didn't cause any offense, alongside replacing her right arm and leg with cybernetic ones (at great cost, of course). Despite all of this, she is relatively cheerful and upbeat, albeit morbid in humour sometimes (as comes with working large amounts of medical and mining/salvage). Deeply caring for others, even to her own detriment, and a big believer in "Nobody left behind", which has caused her issues with just making it to evac trying to save somebody else, or even being left behind trying to make sure someone else made it.
What made you join Funky Station?
A number of friends told me about Funky Station, and have been having fun over here! The biggest thing that drew me to Funky Station, however, was the extensive and highly detailed SOP, including for lesser played roles, such as Reporter! The extensive SOP makes it feel all the more immersive, and is something I've never seen anywhere else! Between my friends being present, and the incredible detail of the SOP, I'm very excited to try playing!
