Physical Appearance
Zavi Lunamoth stands at around 5'8", with a white moth-like insect body and extremely fluffy pufts of moth scales covering his neck and around his torso. His eyes are a bright ultra blue color, and they shimmer quite beautifully underneath any type of light. Zavi's antennae are also quite fuzzy, and they tend to droop with a funny-looking bounce.
Personality and Work Ethic
Zavi Lunamoth is a friendly, fluffy, and outgoing moth currently working aboard Nanotrasen's infamous Space Station 14. He enjoys station assignments with a steady, risk-averse workflow, opting to stick to cargo technician work or janitorial shifts. Unlike his brother Rey, Zavi struggles to keep his anxiety in check when dangers arise on the station, often repeating "Oh jeezzzz!" to himself and fluttering around the scene much like an actual moth would. To compound onto his volatile anxiety, Zavi gets considerably nervous when asked to arm up, stating that he is "terrible with weapons" and "would really prefer not to hurt anyone", considering himself a pacifist. In this regard, during an active threat to the station, Zavi is helpless to the whims of chaos.
Despite his anxieties, Zavi remains a cheery and bright moth on most of his work hours. You'll never see him yell or butt heads with any coworkers, and even after the chaos of an average Space Station shift; he'll remain optimistic, and quickly return back to his SoP as soon as possible, as long as he doesn't have to take a trip to medical first. He prides himself on his janitorial work, as well as his friendly demeanor when working desk duty at cargo. He strives to become a quartermaster, to ensure all station duties are completed efficiently and swiftly.
Before the Space Station
Zavi's upbringing was turbulent to say the least. He grew up in a densely populated NT controlled planet, living in a packed skyrise apartment with his parents and his brother, Rey. Zavi's parents constantly pressured him during his youth to 'become better' and 'do more' with himself, constantly citing his dead-end jobs and lack of passion as evidence he was going nowhere in life. They often scolded Zavi for being too much of a "pushover" compared to his older brother, disliking his friendly and soft demeanor as he grew older. Compounded onto an already tough and restricting parenting style, this led Zavi to develop some pretty awful anxieties. Zavi often struggled to find a neat spot to 'fit' in life, his anxieties getting the best of him on most jobs on his homeworld. Despite this, his brother Rey often stuck up for him, constantly arguing with their parents about Zavi's potential, leading to an abrasive household. All of this eventually culminated in a massive argument that was the final straw for both the Lunamoth's and their parents, causing them to move out of the apartment, and find work among NT's Space Stations.
After the move, when Rey initially suggested to Zavi that they work among an NT space station, he was incredibly hesitant. He'd heard about the dangers of space terrorism, space fauna, and the many incompetencies of Nanotrasen's management, but it was all hearsay to Zavi, and Rey insisted that their experience would be different from the rest. Getting to travel open space and see the stars, as well as meet plenty of new people he'd never be able to see otherwise, eventually convinced Zavi that a job at a space station would be fit for him.
Now, Zavi works comfortably at Nanotrasen. Each Zavi you see among your shift is the same bright eyed, fluffy moth brimming with a carefree attitude and a solid work-ethic. He's relatively new to the job, and he might not be all too familiar with the intricacies of working among the station, so please treat him with care. Each day he learns something new, and each day he grows more fond of his new job among the stars.
