Briefly describe the background and/or personality of a character you enjoy playing (Can be SS14, DND, or a character you just made up!):
I personally enjoy characters that are trying to be on the somewhat more serious side while also having obvious faults that are apparent the moment you observe them over a prolonged time. Like a drinking/gambling habit, anger issues or (my favorite) the tendency to pursue the most unhinged creations imaginable in a rather save environment. In general, i like characters that show contrasts in their personality. A PF2 character i have, a bunkin alchemist (well, it's a refluffed Ysoki) named Caerban, is for example a stout follower of Pharasma who tries even prepare graves for humanoids the party killed, but then at evenings goes drinking and gambling in the nearest tavern. Gameplay-wise, i feel more at home at the more nerd-ish departments such as engineering and science.
The character that i will likely bring over from ss13, Heron Asimov, is a fallen out professor for genetic engineering who tries to get back into more academical research by going over the industrial research route. He is a distant, somewhat absent but overall friendly person who takes pride in what he creates and achieves. He tries to push himself and his creations further and is more on the side to try to be unconventional for the sake of being unconventional. As an antag, he will drop the safety precautions on his doing. (Well, once i learned the ropes and feel confident in the mechanics, i'm still a new player in ss14)
What made you join Funky Station?: I have grown out the server im playing ss13 in (Goonstation) and try to find new servers to play at. I'm seeking a server with a more slower, less arcade-ish pace where i can interact with personel more. I found the server by watching some Youtubers.
