John Oswald II Poslethwaithe Cruttendom of Walmsley upon Drang, a nobleman in his late twenties, raised sheltered from most of society but with an insatiable thirst for adventure. He spent his days reading and listening to stories about great heroes, adventures and how the trinkets in his family's treasure room came to rest in their opulent display cabinets. One day, when his poor father died and John, the only child, became the man of the house, he gathered an expedition to faraway lands in search of adventure and, of course, artifacts!
John Oswald II is a man of action and derring do, in a bizzare way. His sheltered upbringing means he has litte understanding of how regular people and society outside of lavish noble hunting trips actually function. This often leads to him acting quite strange according to most people. But underneath the strange surface is an unwaveringly loyal, deeply caring and truly noble soul who truly does want the best for (almost) everyone he knows! So grab a bottle of fine Brandy (No! Not that one, that year's vintage was so dull!) and load your musket, we are going on a spectacular adventure!
