Briefly [<---Sorry...] describe the background and/or personality of a character you enjoy playing (Can be SS14, DND, or a character you just made up!): [/b]Well, The current character I play on SS14 is Survives-the-Void, a purple lizard! I usually play him as quartermaster, but the backup is salvage. Granted the difference in jobs, his personality differs (as i cant really guarantee i get QM every match 
).
When I play as QM, survives runs a pretty loose ship with his crew, allowing them to do mostly as they wish. This is especially true with the salvage crew, to which he often turns a blind eye to suspicious activity (granted that it isn't ACTIVELY harmful to anyone). He also really tries to take orders from other departments, even to the point of harassing them on what they want.
Survives as a salv is pretty reserved, focusing heavily on his salvage work and helping out his fellow salvage crew. While he is reserved, this doesn't mean he doesn't interact with others, he just tries to keep conversations short and to-the-point, often times just pointing/thumping his tail if its all it would take to get the point across.
As for his backround, I have only a pretty vauge idea of where he comes from/why hes here. I'll just use this as sort of a brain-dump as to what ive thought about here and there: Survives-the-Void started work on the station to pay for one of his siblings... space college..?(or something along those lines). He feels it is his duty to make up the money for such a thing because of his parents lack of support throughout him and his siblings life, and due to this, his relationship with them is very strained. Thats all ive got for backround right now, but as i play on a more RP heavy server, im hoping some of the finer details flesh themselves out naturally 
What made you join Funky Station?: I decided to join funky station after a recomendation from a friend! me and her recently started playing ss14, playing on WizDen. While wizden is great, it makes me kinda sad on what your able to do/ get away with since people are focused a lot more on gameplay/semi-metagaming instead of focusing on RP
