Briefly describe the background and/or personality of a character you enjoy playing (Can be SS14, DND, or a character you just made up!): I usually play a completely different character every time I play SS14. I enjoy jumping into new backgrounds / playstyles - but usually prefer science or engineering. I used to play the heck out of SS13 on Goon station and have been absolutely loving SS14.

What made you join Funky Station?: Heard about it from the youtuber AcornANut and liked what he said about it. Seems like a great community!

Hello! Could you please give us an example of a character you have played before or would like to play?

We are focused on roleplay, so ask that people give examples so we know you are open/willing to make a character. It doesn't have to be an essay, but just so we know you are able!

One character I’d play is Moss-Under-Glass, a Diona scientist grown from cuttings recovered from an old hydroponics module after a station accident. Since then, they’ve been fascinated by how fragile station life is, and how many little systems have to work together to keep everyone alive.

They’re calm, curious, and usually polite, but they can get strangely intense when studying anomalies, radiation, or strange biological samples. Since they were born from the aftermath of a station disaster, they’re always trying to understand what went wrong and how to keep it from happening again. They’re helpful and cooperative, but sometimes get so focused on understanding something that they forget how unsettling they sound to everyone else.

I’d play them as someone who tries to involve other departments instead of sitting in science all round — asking engineering about power or atmos issues and what new parts and bits we can use to enhance the station.
