Briefly describe the background and/or personality of a character you enjoy playing (Can be SS14, DND, or a character you just made up!):
Chris Farland (ss14 character); A young, ambitious cargo member and occasional QM who is social and playful yet very operationally focused, who likes to hang around and have fun on the station. Chris focuses on a memorable time on the station, making sure that his assigned department runs well but makes it a focus to be a socialite and learn about / interact with all walks of life on the station. This wide range of socialization has lead to many memorable experiences that makes me want to play SS14 again, such as employing a greytide gang to do cargo bidding, helping a janitor make his dream home attached to the station, and other things.
What made you join Funky Station?:
I used to play Wizden around 2 years ago for a while, but then lost the time to play roleplay type games. When searching online for servers to get back into SS14, Funky came highly recommended as a beginner friendly and kind community. I've been wanting to get back into roleplay, and getting back into SS14 in general. Funky in particular interests me as I haven't played MRP yet, and it seems fun to have longer rounds to be able to play with SS14 mechanics and learn more than I usually would on LRP.
