What lead up to the ban: I logged into the server as usual without realising that my VPN had autoconnected to Luxembourg, which I guess was a blacklisted IP. I'm only aware of one warning on my account for EORG (from october/november? i think?) , and the rounds I was in yesterday didn't contain any rulebreaking as far as I can recall. No admin bwoinked me.
Why you should be unbanned: I was unaware that the VPN was enabled to begin with. I have it installed because I live in the UK, and recent online safety rulings made websites such as Imgur completely unavailable in my country. Imgur links are everywhere, especially in modding spaces, and I was sick of being unable to see them lol.
I have autoconnect turned off now and will make sure this doesn't happen again lol. Sorry for the hassle.
