regarding preservation of material assets for Sillicons on NTD

often as a sillicon (and sometimes antag) i witness NTD borgs rip down walls, doors and floors to give space to security to engage antagonists. sometimes spacing significant portions of the station in the case of fighting blood cult. or even attempt to start plasma fires. when asked in and out of character, they all insist that its for the 'safety of the station', but neglect the 'and material assets' part. so im asking it here for posterity and clarification, is it permissible to destroy parts of the station as a borg in the name of protecting the station?

it seems rather paradoxical, and feels like it should be a much more hard rule comparative to crewsimov borgs being unable to harm nuclear operatives with agent IDs. it would make sense if NTD was the 'do no harm unto material assets' law, and crewsimov was the 'do no harm unto crew' law.

While crewsimov outright states that you may never harm crew, NTD says that you need to protect the station, but doesn't state that you can under no circumstances harm it.

In some cases it would be acceptable for a borg to choose the path of "the lesser damage" in order to protect the station as a whole, such as to aid in stopping nukies from blowing up the station. They shouldn't do it to help against just a single murderer with a gun though, as that does not pose an immediate threat to the station itself.

Note that the same applies for if the crew is trying to set off the nuke, such as during a blob when CC orders command to do so. Borgs should be trying to stop this by any means, as it is their most important law.
