Briefly describe the background and/or personality of a character you enjoy playing (Can be SS14, DND, or a character you just made up!):
I usually play a station engineer named Alex Williams. Alex is technically a competent engineer, but he spends an unusual amount of energy making other people's shifts slightly worse. Nothing serious enough to get himself into major trouble, just enough to be irritating. He'll point out a mistake someone made and then refuse to elaborate, move equipment somewhere "more efficient" without telling anyone, or give directions that are technically correct but not particularly helpful. He does his job well enough that people can't really complain, but most departments are never especially excited to see him show up.
Despite that, he's not malicious and doesn't go out of his way to cause actual harm. He just finds minor inconveniences and workplace confusion a little funnier than most people do.
What made you join Funky Station?:
I've played SS14 for a while and wanted to try a different server. After Wizden shut down, I started looking around for somewhere new to play and Funky Station seemed worth checking out.
