Briefly describe the background and/or personality of a character you enjoy playing:
Serana Vice - Orderly and Law-abiding, with a gambling habit.
Background: Serana grew up quite poor, her parents died mysteriously in a incident likely related to cultists of Nar'Sie, though it could never be proven, and only through luck managed to get a spot on NT Medical College to study Forensic Sciences, wanting to become an ace detective one day to solve the case of her parents.
She studied hard, learning Space Law and Forensics day and night, citing a 1-04 Trespass charge with added 1-07 Disturbance when anyone wanted to get her out of her room to do something "fun".
Eventually she did land a job at NT, though starting in Service instead of Security, though keeping things orderly as a Janitor and Barman suited her well nonetheless, while dreaming for something greater.
In emergencies her expertise on the bar taps and background of studying hard also paid out in landing her a job as acting chemist for a while, serving medication instead of drinks, while cosying up to superiors.
This eventually lead to her getting a job in Security, a little bit closer to her dream of becoming the ace detective Serana Vice, she always wanted to be.
(Which is also how that character developed as I played them, starting in Service, then Acting Chemist and ending in Security eventually)
What made you join Funky Station?:
I have heard many good things about Funky Station whenever servers came up in talks, and consistently got recommended to join Funky, especially from the lovely folks at Blimpuf Station (which is still Work in Progress).
And the small talk I had on the Discord just reinforced that I would love to join.
(Also, just have to say, the Forum's Styling is amazing, I love the everything is rainbow look!)
