I remember playing many moons ago, somewhere, and they had an event where most of the station got weaponry, quick tutorial on how to use it, loaded onto a ship, and went to "rescue a station" that was over run with some shadow monsters (similar to zombies tho they were faster, more numbered and squishier). I know in 80 pop it might not be possible, but honestly, the most fun I ever had and it made me less scared of sec (like playing sec eventually). I still have so many stories and lore moments from this one event and I would love to see it on Funky if possible. Mby if pop is lower, or once a sufficient enemy is created?
I do think its was posed as CentCom calling upon help from other stations to prevent a whole sector going dark... just naratively nice event you can really play with imo.
Btw, idk anything about runnig, or even much about playing ss14 so I have no idea how good the description is/how possible it is to do/if it exists already or not, BUT, I genuinly still remeber that round as the most fun I ever had. The med got moved, we set up camp, tried to split into teams and not shoot each other, slowly pushed the waves out, got our shit rocked, nearly lost, nearly won...
