TillHero - Warning Appeal

Post by TillHero »

Your SS14 Username: TillHero

Warning Admin's Username: MasterElzoi

Round ID (if applicable): #14043

Reason for Warning: Rule 7, Broke character. As magi, armed with an Mk after asking warden. CCVIPs should only fight in self defense and shouldn't be seeking fights. Please refrain from doing sec work as magi

What lead up to the warning:
It was a survival round IIRC (lots of shit happened). So I asked warden for an Mk in self defense and later shot at a Ninja which entered the bridge. I was the first to shoot.

Why it should be removed:
I have improved a lot in regards of roleplaying since then, I have read Bradens shitguide to IAA (which is amazing, btw), attended admin hours, played a fair bit of CC-VIPs and lots of command which ultimately resulted in a better feel for the setting.
The magistrate has exactly nothing to do with direct confrontation, so even asking for the mk was a mistake in the first place.
The action I took actively ruined the interaction between the captain (i think?) and the ninja. I understand the severity of my action in that moment and I will do better in the future/have done better, as this was three months ago.

Hello, I'll be handling this appeal today.

This warning is 3 months old, and is thusly already not considered when it comes to future warnings. It only remains on your account for administrative purposes, and would only be removed if it was applied in error.

As you've stated here, the warning was applied correctly, and you've since learned and improved. If you would like, we can instead hide the warning, making it not show up on the player's side.

Lastly, having old warnings is generally considered by the admin team to be a good thing. It shows that you're open to admin feedback, and willing to learn and improve.
