Raid suits, Carp organs and powergaming

Post by warpear »

This is a question I ask because I'm frankly tired of seeing so many people complain about it yet doing nothing... :godover:

Is using space animal organs with raid suits considered powergaming?

I'm not arguing in its favor. It's an incredibly strong strategy with a very low TC cost and should be nerfed, but is it against the rules?

no, it is not powergaming. nukies are allowed to pursue any means to accomplish their objectives, outside of exploit abuse (e.g. the reinforcement uplink oversight), or non-combat ops such as boxing or chess ops. anything else they can use to give themselves an advantage goes. dehydrated carp are in their uplink, they have a surgery table and tools, and carp organs make them space proof, so there's no reason they wouldn't be able to connect the dots there. just because it's an "unfun" strategy doesn't mean it's against the rules.
this is ultimately a development issue, where the core of the problem is the existence of space organs in the first place.
hope this helps :smallabsol:
