How often do you switch occupations?

I'll work just about anything CC assigns me but i always try to go for security, engineering, or command contracts.
i go for those contracts because they're stuff i can do well enough, i've worked security long enough that i know what to do and how to handle things as well as i need to.
i'll work command because i'll be honest, it's real easy and pays well. all you gotta do is make sure everyone is working efficiently and teach the new hires.
i'll take engineering contracts because i know how to set up the engines and how to patch holes. i also may be trying to get some on the job training with the SM and atmos but i digress.
i've tried working science but surprisingly it's more dangerous than security work so i avoid them if i can.

the one department i will never work is medical. i can hardly keep it together enough to let the doctors work on me when i'm injured, i could never hold myself together while working on other people...
