Dear CC,
I am writing to formally request an immediate transfer to the Funky sector.
I am aware this request may come off as unprofessional, considering I have already labored in shifts on Starlight, Goob and DeltaV, but I assure you, this request only serves to broaden my knowledge and experience of NT as a company and in no way constitutes a method of dodging responsibility or abusing the generous transfer bonus you offer.
Furthermore, I believe working in the same roles across different sectors would allow me to assess which sectors operating procedures and standards of conduct are superior. Once this assessment is complete, I will draft a full report of my findings, which I am sure will greatly enhance the company's forward looking revenue, soon after all applicable suggestions have been implemented, of course.
Specifically, I wish to deepen my understating of Funky's security department. Some of my colleagues, who desire to remain anonymous, have informed me that this department is much more efficient in carrying out its duties on Funky compared to other sectors. Security is my main role and it is with deep regret I must emphasize the staggering levels of failure I have witnessed so far. In over half my shifts in this department, the station and/or much of its crew have been destroyed. The main culprit for this destruction, in my humble opinion, is undeniably the lack of efficiency and competence of the various security departments. A complete absence of reading SOP, random and uncalled for batonings, crippling deficiency of situational awareness and obviously, not believing hard enough in NT, are just some reasons why security have doomed many a station, despite my best efforts.
I also recall memories of having died on multiple occasions, sometimes at the hands of cosmic eldritch abominations. My, as of now, anonymous colleagues have speculated that these memories imply that we are not real individuals, but clones NT creates and disposes of at its pleasure, clones which are largely unaware of the threats plaguing the universe. Of course, I believe such speculation is complete nonsense and if you need me to disclose the names of my anonymous colleagues, please consult the attached annex.
