NT approached me after I submitted my senior thesis on xenolinguistics. They offered to fully cover my post-grad tuition and a job on their research stations. I couldn't say no to that.

My grandmother was one of central's accountaints for my birth sector until she finally croaked. Got me a nice a cushy spot. Though the stations are often quite... undesirable, I enjoy my power.

After some time in med school I joined NT's ERT corp and become a corpsman. Once my service was over I switched over to being a trauma specialist for their research stations. I do miss the action packed deployments but it is quite nice only seeing my coworkers die occasionally now.
