Hey funkymins, i'd like to know if silicons are allowed to temporarily violate their laws to refuse orders and/or fight back against something that directly threatens their ability to function.
the line of thought is basically "law one says protect the station, its assets, its crew > can't protect the station if you're unable to function properly (chassis destroyed, brain disabled, core destroyed, lost in space, etc) > prioritize self preservation to obey law one further in the future."
for example: if you were playing AI and heard RD or Captain say they were going to decommission/destroy you could you then disobey their orders and prevent them from accessing your core and forcefully keeping them out (via turrets, bolting doors, siphoning air, etc) on NTD even though it may directly harm the crew?
