Briefly describe the background and/or personality of a character you enjoy playing (Can be SS14, DND, or a character you just made up!): In the Legend of the Five Rings game I'm in I play Toku Hiroji, a monkey clan bushi. He is a large samurai with a mixture of Monkey, Ronin, and Crab background, and currently the last of his line along with his younger brother. He is loud, boisterous, and usually laughing at something, even when horribly inappropriate. His simple views on honor contrast his wide knowledge base from traveling the world and learning the basics from every expert he can find. He normally carries several bottles of sochu on him, but more to play up the big dumb bushi stereotype and let major clan bushi underestimate him. As a minor clan defender, he often gets into arguments (and sometimes duels) with major clan bushi, as he's very public with his opinion on them; minor clans serve the empire, major clans serve themselves.
What made you join Funky Station?: I like role playing, I've been running tabletop games for 20 years, and it looks like a fun community with less of a focus on trolling and chaos.
