My character's upbringing was on one of the mining colony planets. With low wage and no prospects he was struggling day to day.
His not so good lifestyle was supported by his family that disliked him for not advancing in higher education that would allow him to brig more prestige and wealth the the family.
Over the years the it got only worse, to the point that the family cut off the financial support, which made my character decide to risk it all, departure from his hope planet and sing up for a job on the space station as a warehouse worker.
