What lead up to the ban:
Essentially this stems from an issue where my PC, having a motherboard that was already outdated in 2007 and no graphics card, requires a large amount of workarounds to even join the server.
Every day, when i want to join the server, i have to first activate windows 7 compatibility mode, then join the server with compatibility miode off in the launcher, then join as a role (most of the time i join as an assistant or other non-integral role). Due to my lack of graphics card and terrible CPU, all sprites become black squares.
I then leave the server, turn on compatibility mode on the launcher and rejoin, while simultaneously closing anything that even demands a little bit of CPU and making the window as small as possible so that it requires less CPU to render.
Only after all that, AND often having to restart my entire computer multiple times, i am finally able to play funky station.
I have to do this EVERY SINGLE TIME i join the server. So i imagine that was the pattern that has been noticed.
From what i have figured out after way too many hours trying to get even heavier servers like RMC and Hardlight to work, my PC cannot handle the graphics with compatibility mode (thus the black squares). It also seem that, when loading a server, if the CPU load goes beyond a point during the loading the game breaks, and only shows a black screen. Thus i have to do all these messy workarounds to be able to play.
I was told that i should have ahelped about it, but considering i generally do something innocuous like join as an assistant, rejoin the game and cryo, it didn't seem like anything that even needed an ahelp.
I wont lie and say i have never, while already in the server, cryoed early in a round because i was bored. It has happened, but it has not been the great majority of cases.
Why you should be unbanned: I am forced to join as a mob or entity (remaining in purely ghost mode is not enough, since it consumes too much CPU for my PC to be able to handle joining the server) and then leave the entity to be able to play in the server. Due to this, this pattern of entering the server, joining as a role and immediately cryoing exists. I had no idea i even had to ahelp it (nothing indicates i had for something that seemed so seemingly innocuous). So i believe i should be unbanned as this seems like an unfair ban.
