I've done roleplay in various kinds for 20+ years, starting with in person tables with zombie survival, D&D 3.5 a tiny bit then Pathfinder a lot of and then DND 5e a LOT of, have mostly done text based roleplay for the last 6 years, usually in L5R. I like playing a role, and SS14 seemed like it had lots of opportunity for that.
I play most any kind of character having been a multiple-time GM. I TEND to play male and combat-oriented characters when I'm low on ideas but I also often pivot into something extra even if thats how it starts
What made you join Funky Station?:
I joined the server on a free weekend to roleplay as a guy called Mirumoto Miyagi. My plan was to just do some janitorial work, figure out how things work, make some smalltalk, get used to the station, etc.
Instead I got lost
I got so badly lost I wandered onto a shuttle that, for some reason, did not take me with it. So i suddenly died in space. "Aww shit," I thought. "Game over, I guess. I didnt last 20 seconds in this game."
Ghost roles? Okay I saw a thing about this on a youtube video, lets try being pun-pun

Pun pun stay in freezer too long and have medical emergency. Man working finds me and brings me to medbay. Very nice lady take good care of pun-pun! gave me some orange thing that orbited me, no understand. Eventually was good enough to go.
Wander halls, still no idea where to go. Find a vending machine. It vend drink! learn how to open can, slow going. Then drink! Monkey get 3 sprite drink, make thirst go away. Leave cans on floor, dont know what trash can looks like.
Wander more. Thankfully find bar where punpun works again!
Need get drink? i put gin in a glass. I figured it out! pun-pun happy! Wait, where do pun-pun go to get water? Pun-pun no know how to make water. Get glass? Where sink? bottles of water, found them. Sparkling water? uh oh. Pun Pun cant help at bar. Pun pun try!!
Then something strange happen? Nice lady with red hair come find pun pun, stick me with a needle, now I'm smart! What? WORDS!?!? I can do more than ook?? Pun pun very grateful!!! Very Very!
First ask nice music lady what drinks want!! I do my best to figure it out! Just says to keep them comin, so i bring beers and many drinks! Sometimes use blue curacao, mix with gins and vodka!
WAIT, something happen! big monster things attack! MUSIC PERSON IS HURTING!! Hard to tell with all the music still going!! Pun pun try to drag to medbay, save friend, but too much obstacles! too many bad things in the way! I try my best!!

Or disappeared, no body left behind. Dont know what happened. Cook returns. Says I should get a hat. Pun pun no have clearance to get hat
Lady come by give my ID more clearance. Find out cook had monkey organs in the freezer!? He told me not to go in there before, back when I didnt have smart!! I STILL DONT KNOW WHATS GOING ON. WHY IS ANOTHER MONKEY CORPSE IN FREEZER!?
Then the bad happens. Escape shuttle arrive. Run with cook to escape place, only thing I know to do!
This was amazing.
10/10 will monkey around anytime
