Briefly describe the background and/or personality of a character you enjoy playing (Can be SS14, DND, or a character you just made up!):
My favorite SS14 character is my slime-girl scientist Polly Imani! She joined Nanotrasen to pay off her families debt. She values hierarchy, structure, curiosity, and promises.
She is sympathetic to silicons, and often advocates for them on the station as she finds their circumstances distasteful. This is often a point of conflict for her, with her department being responsible for the creation of cyborgs.
Often times feeling overwhelmed with the chaos of the station she resorts to unhealthy habits to cope such as drinking or smoking, and tends to struggle when placed in disaster situations. She is terrified of losing her job, and tends to be wary about doing things that may put her contract at risk unless it will directly help their situation back home.
What made you join Funky Station?:
I recently began playing SS14 and am getting tired of the lack of interaction and "gamey-ness" I see in LRP/NRP servers. So I am wanting to try a station more focused on the roleplaying aspect of the game. I heard funky is a good place to start! :)
