Reason for Warning:"1 over-escalation in the form of station sabotage"

What lead up to the warning: I was contacted via AHELP and was asked why I did what I did. What I specifically did was I was a skeleton and I spawned into engineering. I decided that I wanted to be a bad skeleton this round, and I eventually met up with a engineer. After that I broke downs some doors with a RCD which the engineer saw and allowed to happen. I then went into the supermater room. The Engie was upset and told me to leave, I refused saying that It was mine and that you should come and fight me for it. I ended up getting in a small fight in the supermater room which led to the Engie getting ashed. After that another Engie came in and told me to stop. In response to that I broke the plasma window at the top of the supermater room and started throwing the plasma tanks into the supermater. After that i got killed with a fire axe.

Why it should be removed: I think that I properly Over escalated in this situation. It started out with me removing doors and the Engie clearly didn't care that much about the doors getting removed so that's a reason to why I could break down other doors. The doors just so happened to go to the supermater room and my skeleton character enjoyed the gem that was the supermater. The Engie then came in and we had a back and forth that led to me asking them if they wanted to stop me they could fight me. The skeleton enjoyed the gem and they wanted to protect it. The reason I started throwing the plasma cans into the supermater is that I wanted to spite those engies after they were trying to kill me. They wouldn't be happy about me destroying those cans. I think that the skeleton ghost role roleplay rule thing is also poorly worded. It says that as long as its funny you can self antag as a skeleton. Fluxie said that while skeletons can self antag they shouldn't be allowed to commit crimes. I agree with Fluxie on what they are saying, if I did what they think I did this would be a reasonable ban. The skeleton ghost role desc seems to be a joke instead of a actual ruleset because funny is a very broad term that is entirely subjective. Even if my unban is denied I think changing the ghost role desc for the skeleton would be a good descion to make. While that tangent has little to do with the fact whether or not I over escalated I do think that it could lead to misunderstanding on what the skeleton is because loosing the station would in my opinion be funny it would also probably be a rule break. Hello, I'll be handling your appeal. As this is an appeal for a 3 day ban it is not subject to a mandatory vote among the admins. Your appeal has been denied.

While you are correct that the skeleton description is a bit unclear, there is a line between skeleton antics, and station sabotage. The conflict leading up to you approaching the supermatter is fine, removing doors and possibly getting into a scuffle about it.

Getting into a fight near the supermatter, resulting in someone getting ashed is approaching the line. Escalating to the point of round removal can certainly happen, but it's very context dependent.

Breaking the SM chamber and proceeding to throw plasma canisters into the SM is the real issue here. Mainly because this can very rapidly lead to a delam causing mass station sabotage. Which should only be done is mass station destruction is your objective, or if you have a very very good reason. (And in those cases us admins typically ask that you ahelp us to check in beforehand.)

Even full antags are not allowed to loose, or purposefully cause a delam, just because they consider it funny.
