Briefly describe the background and/or personality of a character you enjoy playing (Can be SS14, DND, or a character you just made up!): I have a few characters I like to play!
Petty Larceny is a tiny, stammering 'girl chemist' who went to 'girl college' to learn 'girl pharmaceutical chemistry'. She's shy and very touch- and germ-averse, wearing gloves everywhere all the time and reacting by shuddering whenever touched, avoiding personal space. She loves suspicious experiments, being generally uncertain in her abilities, begging for pity and wallowing in her own misery!
ST is a very proactive lawyer with a lot of paperwork to back it, whose one true calling in life is to get as many people free as possible, whether 'guilty' or not, because she simply believes there is no such thing as guilt and that anyone should be allowed to get off scot-free.
Lucky-Lackey is a casino dealer-bot, typically an IPC but could be repurposed into a borg, who is explicitly programmed to gamble as much as possible and as WELL as possible. He's memorised hundreds of years of cocktailery and different gambling games, and has written a solid dozen guides for them, and very strongly wants to see them done well and correctly, even at his own expense - when he loses big. He had nothing to do but go over and over his massive database of American and Chinese gambling culture when he was left to his own after his creator's ship got blown into smithereens and he was left floating in the vacuum of space for many months. He's also a pretty decent businessman at that, and knows how to manipulate his players!
Kennedy Knox is a slight enigma of a woman. She's a scientist with some very strong opinions, both towards anomalies and to the issue of rank (and age), feeling strongly wanting to cut down those above her and pull rank on those below her, and complain endlessly about being equals with others. But it mostly comes from an inner place of envy - and she still kisses ass in front of her superiors when the situation calls for it, which is most of the time. She's also in her 30s.
Tran Thanh Tran is a butchy enlisted soldier who has a tendency towards casual misandry because of some strong, unprocessed complexes stemming from her inability to come out of the closet and also staying a virgin through the entirety of her 20s.
Finally, Changqing is a self-proclaimed 'terracotta man' who believes himself to be the enlightened, alchemically-altered (naturally, by enemy witches sent by the State of Chu) living (but posthumous) soul of Sun Tzu himself transported exactly one (1) year ahead in time from the Spring and Autumn period of Ancient China into wherever the hell he is now. In reality, he is a borg/IPC/C-27 who got ion-stormed/mind-wiped and woke up right next to the Art of War, which he now believes to be his 'diary'. Despite it all, and though he's still a little clueless about the world and its novel new weaponry, Changqing (Sun Tzu's posthumous courtesy name) is a capable strategist and general!
P.S.: Changqing is VERY partial to kitties, and has recently taken up the charcoal pen to try drawing them himself. He's not very good but he is very satisfied with himself.
What made you join Funky Station?: I've heard great things about it from my friend warpear, a few other people, and also from watching YouTube videos of people talking about Funky or playing it :)
